Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food was fantastic but no surprise because we have been here many times before.
Been to both Hillcrest and Point Loma locations, and I think they're both just as good! My server was very friendly and attentive. It was on a super hot day, but there was no delay on my hot entrees. Ordered a California Benedict and I love the eggs were cooked just right! The potatoes on the side were yummy and I would have ordered a side of potatoes just separately if I wasn't already full. I also had the monthly special breakfast fried rice with bacon and mushroom. The portion was a little small and the rice was just a tad too hard, but it was very flavorful probably because of the bacon. Did not disappoint!
Nice spot for fresh salads, sandwiches, and soups in the middle of Hillcrest. They have a really good side salad they serve with most dishes. They're tomato basil soup is also delicious. I'm a big fan of their black bean burger, it's really tasty (and I'm not vegetarian). They have a large selection good, healthy food, clean and spacious dining area with a friendly atmosphere, and quick service. Try this spot out for lunch or dinner you will be pleasantly surprised.
Great vibe, food choices, innovative ingredients and friendly staff. Decent wait times. The fig jam and ricotta cheese French toast is amazing. The Mexican mocha was wonderful too. The arugula truffle oil parmesan cheese potatoes are the the best I've had till date. Good food portions too. The pancakes are pretty good too. Overall a great brunch place. Definitely worth going again.
My breakfast was good but not great. Ordered Eggs Benedict; the Canadian Bacon portion wasn't much bigger than a big pepperoni. I suspect the Hollandaise sauce was from a sauce packet. Coffee was good. Service was good, one waiter on while I was there on a Tuesday morning. Cool decor and located right near the famous Hillcrest sign that hangs across University.
