AMAZING! I've see. This place for yrs and never thought to go In. My dad and I came after we saw it had REAL maple online. Not many places even donut shops have real maple these days. I got a breakfast with churizo and can honestly say I'd be back! Their awards are well deserved. It's cute, vintage and the food was AMAZI

Lawd...let me tell you. Ok let's start off with the bad. It took a bit to get our drinks and place our order. Like 15 minutes after we sat down. It was 11:00 on a Wednesday...but it was super packed. We were seated immediately upon arrival. We've been here before but this time I was like LAWD! My wife had the maple bacon doughnuts and I had the maple brioche French toast with a side of eggs and potatoes. The servers were friendly and the service was fast. It was a bit loud but that's to be expected when they had a full house. I'm definitely going back again and again. The maple bacon doughnuts are bomb but the brioche French toast was nuclear. Don't think....just go! 10 out of 10! Highly recommend! Thank me later!

Not just Great, it 's SUPERB. I love this place and won 't stop raving about it. First, make a reservation, especially on weekends. I was hearing wait times of 90+ minutes on a Sunday morning. Second, inside or outside seating you can 't go wrong. The patio is surprisingly cozy despite being so close to a major road. Third, order the maple bacon donuts. They 're the signature menu item for a reason. And I 'm not even a big donut fan. The menu has a lot of unique twists on brunch, like the french toast logs (they mean it, they 're BIG) and pigs in a blanket. You also can 't go wrong with sweet vs. savory. I split the beef brisket hash (amazing, the meat was super tender) and the french apple pie pancakes. They may not be a classic on the menu but, my god, those pancakes. And the salted caramel syrup. I seriously doubt there 's a bad dish on the menu. This place deserves all the attention Morning Glory gets and then some. The service was friendly, and I especially appreciated that they were accommodating toward my food allergy (they even tweaked the pancakes to be nut free).

One classic San Diego brunch spot! They have the fairly standard brunch menu but just like most brunch here in San Diego, they offer dishes with a Mexican twist. We walked in for a party of 2 for a Monday brunch and were seated immediately. I'd imagine given the popularity, there will be a waitlist during weekend brunch time. Parking here is a pain as while there is a lot, it is almost always full at all hours of the day, so you will want to budget time to find street parking. My friend and I tried the chorizo scramble, brisket hash, salted caramel budino, and chocolate bacon pancakes. Chorizo scramble has a good amount of chorizo, served with potatoes, a slice of bread, and fruit, so that in itself is a nice meal for one. It also has lots of cheese on top so it makes it quite hearty. The potatoes here are more flavorful than the hash. Brisket hash the brisket here is fairly smoky and tender, and mixed together with the sauce and poached eggs, is another nice dish. The dish did feel quite repetitive quickly even with the variety of ingredients, as without that small dollop of sauce, the dish was a little dry. The salted caramel budino is a coffee drink which is a shot of espresso with lots of whipped cream and caramel. Think of it as a sweet version of an einspänner. Chocolate bacon pancakes were good as a dessert but I honestly felt like I could not taste much of the chocolate nor especially the bacon, so while it sounded interested, I felt a little underwhelmed with this dish. Service is okay as water refills took a while but otherwise our requests are fulfilled relatively on time. Overall, this is a pretty solid brunch place, but I just have had better and have higher expectations given the popularity.
