Whole Cakes Potrero Hill - San Francisc

Someone there is a classically trained pastry chef! The chocolate genoise cake was excellent- perfectly moist and its structure was phenomenal. The whipped cream frosting had the right amount of sweetness and the berries were fresh and tart!Bien, très bien.

I love whole cakes! A great neighborhood spot. Good coffee, and all the pastries including the cakes are awesome.

The cake quality is 10/10- they make high end Japanese bakery style cakes that you can also get by the slice.The espresso drinks are perfect— as good as when you order from Four Barrel!The pastries are delicious, my very small complaint is that I just wish they were 20% bigger given how high the prices are. Overall it is a beautiful and well run bakery.

Poor communication. This bakery listed a number of gluten free/vegan options, but failed to clarify that it’s vegan cake is NOT gluten free. As a result I wasted nearly $100 on a cake I cannot share with my partner in her birthday.

Worst customer service ever, wish I could leave a zero star. I reserved cake two days in advance, but when I went to pickup the owner said they sold my cake to someone else. Just kept saying sorry, and refund was the best they could do. They broke the fundamental trust in business, and gave worst customer service.Their smallest cake 6 ' ' is $46. Plenty of other cake options in SF, would recommend b.pattiserie or paris baguette. If you must eat their cake only purchase in store, their online order is meaningless.
