Burgers weren?t as good, to sad. Although they were okay, there are better ones. Nice place, nice environment, classic place not the best.
Had reservations for two at 7 and was seated promptly on a Wednesday, restaurant was about 1/2 full. The outdoor dining area is cute but still the tables are pretty close to each other, to get into our spot, we had to squeeze past the next table. We ordered drinks (margarita and Sazerac). Margarita was good but the sazerac was way too sweet. We ordered the pasta and the burger. The burger meat quality was good but the meat was very unevenly salted, one bite would be too salty and the other would be salt-less. The bigger cuts of fries were undercooked and still a little starchy. The pasta was also ok , nothing to write home about. All in all, just average everything with a little bonus for friendly service.
The Americana contains two handmade burger patties, two slices of American cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced yellow onions and a layer of thinly sliced pickles. Tomato is not included. (I?m a pickle fan, so I loved it. Also, I prefer red onions in my sandwiches, but that?s just personal preference. You can add crispy onions, French fries or a salad for a bit extra . We also had a few of their cocktails including One Hot Mama, The Hudson, and the Tiki Tequila. Overall, a great place to have a leisurely lunch with a few drinks.
I recently enjoyed a meal at Causwells, and I can't recommend it enough. The burger was a true delight—cooked just right and full of flavor. The drink selection was impressive and paired perfectly with the meal. What truly set the experience apart was the exceptional service: attentive, friendly, and really enhancing the overall vibe. Causwells definitely deserves its 5-star rating!
I stopped by the restaurant just before happy hour ended and indulged in a $7 martini along with some $1.50 oysters. For my main course, I had the chicken sandwich paired with a side salad. The martini was superb, and the oysters were served with a distinct homemade hot sauce in a dropper, which was a nice touch. The chicken sandwich was good, but it didn’t quite blow me away. While I didn’t sample any cocktails from the regular menu, they looked stunning and were beautifully presented. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was exceptionally friendly! The space is somewhat small, but they do have outdoor seating available. I definitely recommend making a reservation.
