Purple Kow - San Francisco

Ten or thirteen years ago Purple Kow was a fine boba place. But now with so many boba places… you can for sure find better milk tea elsewhere than here. Both black milk tea and oolong milk tea taste very watered down. Disappointing…Food: 1/5

Go here when we can always busy! Love the salt and pepper chicken with the side sauce always buy extra and favorite drink is the mango smoothie and also the D1 with boba to die for!!!?Food: 5/5

Purple Kow is the spot for me when I visit SF!This time around, decided to go heavy and ordered a 33 oz passion fruit green tea with boba. Total was $6.90 which is a bit pricey, but there was A LOT to drink. Probably scooped a few spoonfuls of boba in there.Staff was a bit a slow. No one was in line, but it took awhile for them to make my drink. I ordered it with half sugar and it was too sweet. I would definitely recommend maximum 25% sugar (maybe no sugar) for the amount of boba they throw in there.Street parking only.I'll be back with my sugar adjustments!

Loved the pistachio milk tea with boba and matcha jelly! I ordered it on a whim and didn’t regret it. As a person who is picky when it comes to their boba, I highly recommend.Service: 4/5

Weak tea. Perfect boba texture.Will be back to try the popcorn chicken and maybe D3 since their milk tea wayyy watered down.
