Tortas Ahogadas Tradicion Tapatia

I finally had the chance to visit this restaurant for the first time last Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, the service, the ambiance, and the overall experience. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant where you can see the kitchen and watch as the food is prepared from scratch. The familiar aromas fill the air, and there is a salsa station with lemons, onions, and cilantro, as well as a handmade tortilla station. The menu has something for everyone, including plenty of vegetarian options, and the Aguas Frescas are delicious. For lunch, I ordered Tacos dorados (requeson and potato), Tacos de Barbacoa (served with broth and double tortilla), and a Strawberry agua fresca. I also enjoyed trying all the different salsas. The drive to this restaurant was definitely worth it!

The crispy tacos were quite a treat! Nicely accompanied with sauce and cabbage salad. It’s a modest restaurant with plenty of pleasant outdoor seating. Want to visit again. Good service, too.

I really like this place, food is delicious but I had to take 1 star just because food is a little greasy...gave me a tummy ache. But it is really good!

Deliciously and sweet.. tortas and tacos de canasta o carretera lots of people know those tacos by both names...

The Torta Ahogadas at this restaurant are absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I am eager to try something else on the menu.
