Cafe La Mancha - San Jose

What a lucky find. A little hidden but worth the search if the excellent coffee made with love and respect doesn’t thrill you then maybe just the more peaceful aspect inside the covered courtyard might just be the thing. But do come for the coffee, the conversation and the joy of finding someone who is bringing the best Costa Rican coffee to the local scene. So good we had to return.

The experience is unique, from the atmosphere to the last drop of coffee... having tasted a coffee in La Mancha, it was like when I tried my first craft beer: I hadn't really had a beer!

The attention is excellent, the beautiful place, the best food, the delicious drinks and in the heart of San José.

What a beautiful hidden secret! Great coffee and food, excellent service, and tucked away just inside a courtyard full of sunshine off of the busy road. The historical building and space make for a relaxing and yummy stop in a city that is not always quiet. Try it! Kathy
