Great food and strategic location. slightly high prices.
He began with the patacons that came with guacamole that was frozen, the beans and pico were good. I had the veggie fajitas, the 2 tortillas with very cold guacamole on and bland veggies on the side. everything was just a little cold. then a few minutes later my friends came to eat, that was the veggie burger and there was not much of a patty on it. overall not great, but something is better than nothing I suspect.
I was during my business trip to san jose in the best western irazu and I am glad to know that there is a restaurant serving vegetarian options a few meters from the hotel. they have some vegetarian options on the menu, the staff is very friendly and willing to help even if I don't speak Spanish very well. I ordered some vegetarian fajitas and patacons with avocado. very good eating. updated by previous review on 2018-02-28
Our group of 22 people from France was greeted by 4 or 5 waiters at a restaurant located in a dimly-lit shopping center corridor near a busy main road. The dishes arrived quickly after our arrival, in a rushed and confusing manner. I ordered ceviche, which was more like a soup with commercial crackers, but it was decent. Plates were cleared before some of us had even picked up our utensils. The order was mixed up, with some not receiving what they had ordered and too many plates being prepared. Some people had to wait for their meals while others had already finished. The main dishes were subpar, with overcooked pasta smothered in tasteless, heavy sauce. Desserts were brought out while some were still eating their main courses, and the plates were left on the crowded table. Water was only offered at the end of the meal, followed quickly by the bill so we could leave. Unfortunately, some members of our group fell ill the following night. Overall, not a restaurant I would recommend.
