El Tambo de Tacama - San Juan Bautista

A beautiful winery and wonderful staff. We did not make a reservation, but explained that we were interested in tasting their wines. Matteo came by and after the introduction allowed us to taste 2 wines without a fee. We ate there for lunch and of course... Wine! Matteo deserves special recognition for his kindness and excellent English skills. He is a definitive asset for the winery.

We really enjoyed our tour of the factory and hacienda, and learned a lot about the process of making wine and Pisco. Our guide Cesar was excellent and explained everything in English very well, answering our many questions. The tasting was fun, plenty of wine...supplied!

Excelent food, rich in flavours, unique,also the place is amazing: green, peacefull and away from the crowded Ica. Ask for Joel, who is a good professional and always ready to help.

We han an amazing lunch, all the dishes we ordered were top notch. The pisco sours were great, as well as our wine order of a bottle of Don Manuel. All this accompanied by a spectacular show. We later enjoyed a tour of the vineyard....A great experience in family with our two young girls. Highly recomendable.
