There are seating with street view, seating in the back, which are quieter and would be good for work (not shown), then sitting outside in the garden area (see photos). The staff is ridiculously helpful. First it went to the scout to get coffee, then I found myself here to get food. What I was just here.
Laid back, relaxing place to grab breakfast. It seems like a.place where many college students go to study as well so it can be really quiet at times. The service was great. The students that work there didn't seem bothered or annoyed or anything. Smiles all around which is always good. The food was good as well. They also have a piano people cn play on. However, because it was so quiet i didn't want to play it Haha. Would i come back?sure if im inthe mood for a latte or something. I'm not a huge breakfast guy so
A cute little cafe with a back patio that is like a garden sheltered from the rest of the downtown area. You wouldn't know it existed if you never went. There are pastries and a few of good food items and a ton of different coffee/tea options. Great location for dates, studying, or just standard relaxation.
Very cute little cafe…unique muffin options…small menu but everything prepared really well..
After my disappointing latte from another shop, I decided to give Linnaea's Cafe another shot for breakfast. I ordered a latte, naturally, along with a slice of coffee cake. The coffee cake was expertly made, with a focus on healthy ingredients rather than excessive sugar, which made for a satisfying meal. I've heard they serve fantastic eggs here, but I didn't order any since I wasn't very hungry. I sat by the window overlooking the walkway, although there are also seating options in the back. The building has an old-world charm, and they've preserved much of its architectural character. I wish there were more places like this in Walnut Creek. Next time, I'll make sure to stop by for lunch. This café is definitely a gem!
