Alvin Ord's - San Marcos

The best sandwich shop! It is worth waiting and I am shocked it has not changed over the years. My husband was very hesitant to try the place because of the dated look, he was surprised how delicious the sandwich was, but disappointed with the soda fountain with very few works.

The more things change, the more you stay the same and the perfection of an Alvin Ord's sandwich is today the same as the first one I had 15 years ago. During this booking it is only due to pandemic so that you do not sit in the timelessly tagged booths, but your order will still capture all magic and fill you with as much healing as you can handle.

San Marcos staple. The bread is unique and delicious, even if it does chop your mouth up like captain crunch. Fresh tasting ingredients.

I've been coming here since I was a kid with my Mom. The sandwiches are fantastic and this place can't be beat with pricing. This place is a part of San Marcos and you need to stop by!

Hidden gem! The Salvation was so delicious and the prices are right. Vibe is funky and one for those places that stays the same through time. True original. Definitely stop by here when in San Marcos
