Phil's Bbq - San Marcos

Amazing barbeque from san diego! I wish they had a location in la or oc! so I was at an adoration conference in the rock church with my big church group and.

I'm reviewing myself 5 years ago. I only had problems with the location san marcos. it was closest to me and is gone now. every other phil was me.

Read the reviews, so took my enkelin there during the visit of sea world. I was very disappointed with the meal. I'm on my way to bbq.

The food is great, the staff is attentive and extremely friendly. The prices were better than fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming, clean and pleasant. This is the place I would drive out of my way to treat with friends, family or even me again and again!

So frigging good! In the past I had been to the location on Pacific Beach because it is pet friendly. But on a recent trip to Oceanside we decided it was worth the drive to San Marcos for dinner at Phil's BBQ. Based on past experiences we were prepared to wait an hour or so to be seated, however, the SM location was not at all super crowded. We were able to walk right in and order at the counter. The ribs are super delicious. The chicken is juicy. The baked beans are so good. Phil's BBQ is such a treat. I wish there were more of these throughout California.
