Avaliação da contribuiçãoI highly recommend ordering from bentosprout. mireille was extremely responsive and helped me to curate my daughter's birthday party with a budding little child. they are professional, punctual and a good cook! eltern had the chicken, gay and teriyaki salmon. the children had a chicken caraage bento. eating was well balanced for the adult bengos and children. the children ate most boxes, and some adult had extras. I asked for special accommodations for the child crates and mireille delivered exactly as I wanted. she even tried to make the child food smaller for a simpler meal. it was thoughtful and well prepared. the custom sections worked well for the 3-5 age group. the children had a karaage bento with a mochi. the mochi was very soft on the day and remained soft on the day after (even after cold). the adult had huh with tartaric acid, gayskatsu, teriyaki salmon overall, really happy with the food and sustainable packaging. thanks! we will definitely take them back into account for future events.
Satisfied, cute benton wanted to be served at roomtemp. I tried her tofu and her chicken catsu. prefer the katsu, with its cheerfulness and side of the Katsu sauce. they do not shy on white rice for filler. the side is the same order, with a peanut-y-wilted greens salad, glass noodles, potato salad in Japanese style and a red bohnenmochi dessert. packed nice, but they could benefit from adding some more fresh vegetables or pickles for additional textur changes and acid.
When you open the plastic lid, you can't help smiling to see the colorful bento. The quality is so much higher than any bento boxes you find at stores or restaurants. Not only these are very delicious, colorful and healthy, you'll appreciate how carefully these were cooked and prepared. I also found that these last more than a month in the freezer. These bentos are perfect for lunch, snack, supper or whenever you feel hungry. There are many menu for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free, and you can request brown rice, too.
I've had a couple of bento and both times have come away underwhelmed. I think what was supposed to be chicken teriyaki wasn't grilled and was coated in a thick gluey sauce instead of a glaze. The namasu was overly squeezed and dry. The mochi was too soft and the anko had bits of undercooked bean. I had bought obento for my elderly parents and was embarrassed by how mazui it was! Two stars for effort and presentation.
I ordered a pork katsu bento box from Bentosprout. When I got it, I was surprised on how they took the time to carefully package the lunch as everything was super neat within the takeout box. There was a good portion of the pork cutlet, with it being cut into thin strips for easier consumption. It was cold by the time it got to me though and I didn 't have a way to warm it up, but the breading was still slightly crispy, so it wasn 't bad to eat cold. The glass noodles were very delicious and the potato salad was definitely one of the better ones that I 've had. On the other hand, what I believe to be a ball of spinach was kinda mediocre and the salad was just two ends of a leaf of lettuce and one grape tomato. I which there was more greens to offset the fried cutlet, which would have made this meal more balanced. The red bean mochi was still soft and chewy and exactly what I want when I get mochi.
