Avaliação da contribuiçãoI have traveled around the world for decades, and I don 't think I have encountered a more rude and insolent attitude, especially considering the subpar quality of the food served. Since I was with my family and we wanted to have a peaceful evening, we overlooked the fact that the outrageously priced menus did not include side dishes. We ordered French fries separately, which turned out to be of the poorest quality, clearly frozen ones. I ordered a fish dish that tasted like cardboard, and I returned it after the first bite without making any demands and stating that it 's okay, I 'll order a dessert later. This triggered a series of completely inappropriate reactions from multiple staff members, who came, one after another, repeatedly trying to explain to me that the fish is very good and it 's my problem if I don 't like the fish from Lake Garda... The fish was clearly thawed, far from fresh... And the side dish I ordered with the fish never even arrived. Then another staff member came to tell me insolently that whether I like the fish or not, it will be on the bill. Again, I approved without commenting. Things quickly escalated when, after ordering a dessert, a completely different dessert was brought to me out of the blue! They insisted that this was what I had ordered! When I explained that no, that 's not what I ordered and that I didn 't want anything anymore, a fourth staff member came and yelled at me, saying that nobody is perfect, and that I 'm not perfect either!!! and that the fish was very good!!?? I quickly ended the conversation by saying, Yes, okay, everything is fine, much to the evident disappointment of the person who seemed very eager to continue arguing with me and to give me a lesson... And yes, that crappy food was all on the bill, I was surprised that they didn 't even include the dessert I didn 't order : Otherwise, the place was crowded with people, so I assume that if you stick to the Italian menu of pizza and pasta, the experience might be different. However, for us, it was dreadful.
Even with a beautiful view, great reviews and an impressive menu, the experience at Giardinetto was less than. The fish they served was tasteless and bland, tasted like fish out of the freezer (so yes, not fresh) and we had to send it back. Afterwards we ordered desert to at least get something out of the dinner and they brought something other than ordered. Then we asked to send that back as well and the waiter came back angry, asking 'what is this ' and telling us 'you are not perfect ' as if we were expecting a perfect experience at an expensive restaurant with really good reviews. As if. Angry waiters sending off reproaches are really not ok, especially coming from a restaurant that wants to appear as something different. I really had high hopes for this place. Oh, and they still billed us for the awful, tasteless fish.
Amazing pizza and really friendly staff who fixed us a table for two with a beautiful lake view even though the place seemed full.
One of my favorite hotels in Italy. well-designed rooms in a charming little town above the gardasee. great dinner option right in the hotel with delicious pizza and a very good view.
The restaurant and especially the terrace or terrace, has an absolutely stunning view and atmosphere like an Italian dream! eating and the price are on the spot. they can be busy and short-size, so geduld is required, but it is absolutely worth it! no care if they do not stay in the hotel, the staff is very welcoming. highly recommended!
