Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn my 75km bike trip to St. goar I sleep and eat in this beautiful hotel. The service and the food are nice and good. The price is acceptable for this quality. My bike is in the garage overnight. For all I am happy and will come to my next trip. google again
Located directly on the banks of the Rhein, Ketmann offers very traditional local food schnitzel, freshwater fish, and more. My husband had a nice frilled fish; my schnitzel was fine. The dining room is very old fashioned with wonderful views of the river and across to the Lorely Rock. Service is friendly and efficient. A good stop for an unccomplicated meal.
Among the best restaurants in this region of the Rhine. The Keutmann lunch and dinner menu located between Sankt Goar and Oberwesel is complete, but also includes special dishes that like a discriminatory palate. Oh, and the view of the Rhine is not too shameful. I have dined here three times in ten years and the food is consistently excellent.
Six of us ate dinner at Keutmann after a friend had recommended it and we were SO glad we did! We ate outside on their covered terrace overlooking the Rhine which was beautiful. (I only noticed a small inside dining room. Keutmann is off the B9 roadway next to a large campground outside of St. Goar proper. The restaurant tends to fill up quickly with campers as well as hotel guests, so plan accordingly. The service was acceptable even though the restaurant was quite full and we only noticed one very busy waitress handling tables. Prices on the menu were moderate for the area. A good selection of local wines are offered as well as good beer on tap. Salads were served with a house dressing consisting of oil, vinegar, garlic and herbs which was really special. Our group ordered rump steak (large by German standards , pan fried perch, pork steaks with krauter butter and schnitzel. Everyone in our group raved about their dinner! We plan to go back again on this trip and even tried to get take-out, which they generally don't offer. We visit Germany more than once a year and love German cooking, but this was honestly one of the best meals we've ever had in this country.
My wife and I ate at the Hotel Keutmann Restaurant Biergarten for a second time on May 8, 2013, four years after our first visit. We had a lovely view of the Rhine River and Lorelei. The food was quite good and we enjoyed our meal, beer, German wine.
