I recently went to Captain Grill to try their Lobster Mornay: my friend got a half portion and I got a full one. We're always on the lookout for places that serve lobster Mornay in our area, and this is now my second favorite spot (my top pick is still a Sunday night special at another restaurant, but unfortunately they don't offer it for lunch at the same price). The lobsters were on the smaller side (probably just legal size), but they were delicious! We paid a bit extra to have them with sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. In hindsight, we realized that it would have been better to just order the three-course meal with the lobster upgrade. The staff was very friendly and provided quick service. I signed up for their club for $2.50/year and got a discount on the drinks I ordered. I will definitely be coming back to Captain Grill.
Good food with a view. We were a party of 24 and sat on two long tables. For such a large group they would not split the bill understandably. Visited Dec 2017
Its downstairs at the Motor Boat Club. Get a bench table overlooking the marina and you will want to stay for hours. Whether you choose the wood-fired pizza or the wonderful share-plates or have a dish to yourself, there is no complaints about the food....Pizzas are a recent addition and are a real hit with the locals. Take away also available and cheaper than some of the brand name pizza outlets. Always busy so you may need to book, specially Friday and Saturday
It has been several months since I last visited. There was a new menu much better than the previous one. We all enjoyed our meals and will certainly return.
