Avaliação da contribuiçãoEating is ok not excellent taste, but decent, prices are little high for me a few coffees almost 4 dollars do not refill, that is a no. the plate we order was chilaquiles for 13 dollar and I thought we can share, but is a small dish, pancakes are really good size and all, I like the environment is small inside, but they also have an dining room outside, the distance between tables is big, girls are very friendly, I recommend mostly for ameri / mexi do not eat a Mexican menu.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy, but the flow to get in was fast. They had a very good number of staff to help with the clientele.Got the opportunity to have patio seating at a busy time. The time it took to receive our plates was fair, considering how busy it was. Now the food was a bit pricey but it was good. The staff was friendly and polite. The place is unique. Definitely stands out from other places. Overall great place to come have a bite with a group of friends.
First of alI I need to credit the waiter/cashiers because they were very sweet tried to help fix our food. That being said: the food was AWFUL! It looks FANTASTIC but I’d rather have ugly amazing food than dressed up inedible food. The “Chilaquiles” were canned beans, canned sauce which was not even cooked just warmed up and sloshed together. I had to send them back to get reheated and they STILL came back half cold! The pancakes were nothing special just plain pancakes with chocolate sauce whipped cream with chocolate chips. Again they looked amazing but tasted subpar NOT like “abuelita” pancakes. (False advertising) If you’re going to NOT use Mexican chocolate, at LEAST use dark chocolate so you can pass off the taste as such. The coffee abuelita latte was actually as advertised. It looked pretty tasted good, however the “café de olla” was simply black Nescafé at best. I could of taken all these canned foods and made them taste like they were homemade myself at home! If they at least spent as much time decorating their food for instagram as they should on their culinary cooking they’d be okay. That Nescafé could of been fixed with a dash of cinnamon added. That red sauce could of been fixed simmered on a pan with some spices to bring back it’s flavor. NOT ZAPPED IN SOME MICROWAVE! Those beans are the easiest fix! Splash some oil in a pot with onions and toss the can beans in to be heated with natural flavors. Magic! The tin can taste is gone! Im sorry but if I can make this “Mexican” food better my darn self at home… why pay an arm a leg for it here!
Pretty solid local spot that serves up delicious coffee (try the Cafe de Olla), solid chilaquiles, delicious pancakes and waffles and generally attentive service.Located in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, Cafe Cultura has been a local institution for quite some time. Service can be a bit disorganized at times but most likely, they’re just way too busy to handle the rushes especially during weekends.Chilaquiles are pretty excellent they’re known for this. Churro waffle is incredible. The Cafe de Olla is sensational if you like spiced, Mexican-style coffee and they have a ton of other items on the menu.If you’re hungry for basic, no frills but delicious Mexican breakfast food and a great cup of coffee, go here.
Best vegan breakfast burrito in Orange County! Great place to bring your non-vegan friends as well as their whole menu is not vegan. They only have about one or two vegan options but they will not disappoint. The chipotle aioli that comes in the breakfast burrito is to die for. A must try if you are vegan or non-vegan!
