Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was welcoming, and the service was exceptional. My favorites were the yellowtail nigiri and seaweed salad. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive. On top of all that, the prices were very reasonable. I can't wait to go back soon!
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The quality of the fish was excellent, and I enjoyed the tea and soup as well. Although we didn't try any entrees, my fiancée and I left feeling satisfied after finishing our plates of sushi, all for under $50. The service was good and there was plenty of parking available. We will definitely be making this our go-to spot from now on.
I wasn't sure where to eat while in the area, so I took a chance and ended up here! I absolutely loved the Mexican roll - it was so fresh and delicious. I find myself craving it all the time now!
Went on Christmas Eve. The place was clean and large. They were closing the doors in 15 minutes and still accepted us. The food was delicious the service was great! They never let our tea go past half empty. Great value in the sushi rolls were extremely fresh. We live in San Francisco so it is a little stretch to come down here. But if we were in the area we would go here again.
Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3.5 Cherry sushi was a nice sushi experience and will become one of our new regular sushi spots since it is close to our location. The menu had a large selection of regular and specialty rolls with a nice selection of nigiri in addition to their dinner entree options (which we did not try). We started with the 'Edamame ' appetizer and it was a nice start. Nothing particularly remarkable about the edamame, but it was tasty and the portion size was good for an appetizer. My girlfriend ordered Salmon sashimi and the 'Orange Blossom ' specialty roll, both of which she enjoyed and said she thought the salmon was tasty and the portion size of the specialty roll was very sizable. I ordered 6 pairs of Nigiri which included Salmon, Yellowtail, Scallop, Crab, Toro and Uni. I enjoyed my nigiri overall, and would definitely order any of them again. Following is a more detailed review of each Salmon: 3.5 Average salmon nigiri but good flavor overall. A common theme with all the nigiri was that it did not have the typical 'wasabi ' undertones on each piece. Personally, I like having a little heat from the wasabi, but others may prefer it this way. Yellowtail: 3.5 Average yellowtail but had a pretty good texture. It was mostly unremarkable but good yellowtail, if you 're already a fan of yellowtail you would enjoy this. Scallop: 4 Enjoyable. The scallop had good flavor and texture and I enjoyed both pieces. Would order this again next time. Crab: 4.5 Very enjoyable. Real crab meat that tasted fresh and had nice flavor and texture. One of my favorites of the night, definitely recommend this one to people who enjoy crab. Uni: 3.5 Good, but not great. I 'm a fan of Uni and enjoyed these pieces overall and the prive was pretty reasonable compared to other establishments. The aftertaste of this Uni was fairly strong and had the signature strong ocean taste. Not my favorite uni I have had recently, but it was pretty good overall. Toro: 4.7 Very good. The Toro was tender and delicious and was priced very reasonably. Definitely my favorite piece of the night and they topped it with a nice amount of wasabi to give it some heat. As I discussed above, I 'm a fan of this and so I enjoyed these pieces quite a bit. If you 're a Toro fan, this place is a good option for you. The atmosphere was unremarkable and predictable for a sushi restaurant It will be essentially exactly what you 'd expect. Overall Cherry sushi was an enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back to try some more items. If you 're in the Santa Clara area and looking for a low key and affordable spot with solid sushi, check this spot out.
