Din Tai Fung - Santa Ana

Excellent food!! Excellent service!!! Great drinks and because I went there on a Tuesday afternoon, I walked right in. I’ve been wanting to try this place but every time I did, the wait was extremely long. Is it worth the wait? Absolutely!

We tried several dumplings and the braised beef noodle soup all were soooo delicious! The braised beef truly melted in our mouths! Our server, Julia provided great service. Knowing that it was our first visit, she took time to explain the menu, even showed us how to eat certain dumplings! Overall, great food and awesome dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Be ready for a long wait...2 hours! Since we are coming from San Francisco and came here on a long weekend holiday, I am personally happy to be here at Westfields Valley Fair. The mall is new and with modern details. The shops and restaurants have very nice interior details. The mixed of earth tone color and texture...impressive! Love the interiors of this restaurant! Service was cool. Food was great! Be ready for small servings. Got a wonderful experience! Except the waiting time. Garret, our server is pleasant and helpful. Its nice when our servers smile, very good impression always.

Being from Houston, this was a real treat for me. Everything was fantastic. I have been to three locations in California now and they all were the same, if not better.

Best Chinese/Taiwanese food around, hands down! The XLBs are to die for! The noodles, dumplings, and green beans are also amazing. Service is fast and courteous, cocktails are amazing, and and the atmosphere is cool too! Amazing place! Update: Still the best!
