The ambiance and decor was nice, comfortable and clean. It was loud although only one table was occupied, they have a t.v. on that was turned on so loud that my husband and I could not hear one another very well. The waitress was barely audible and shy, and could not offer any help or suggestions or recommendations. The food was completely disappointing. I live for taco’s, and I could not get past the first bite of my taco. I love both hard and soft shell, and always on the quest of a good hard shell taco (that won’t break my teeth). The shell was ridiculously unpenetratable. The meat (carne asada) was so dry the texture reminded me of beef jerky. My cheese enchilada was so-so, but the ranchera sauce seemed canned, nothing special. My husband said is soft carne asada taco was equally horrible.

If you are looking for the standard tacos and enchiladas, go somewhere else, because their choices are not standard. This is real Mexican food. Tortas, soups, dinner plates, Menudo on weekends — all great. My favorite is “camaron al mojo de ajo” (Garlic Shrimp) and the menudo. Don’t come for ordinary tacos, come for real Mexican Food!
