Mimi's Cafe - Santa Clarita

Limited menu that we were forced to order from despite not labeling this anywhere prior. The place was packed, making it extremely loud. Servers were slow to tend to needs and food was mediocre.

We did not even get seated, despite having a reservation we were informed by the host that we would have to wait 15 mins. We waited for 30 minutes and were given no update or apology and then we left.

Mimi’s Cafe in Santa Clarita is a great choice for a family meal. They have a welcoming atmosphere and a menu that includes something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters. We especially enjoyed the pot roast, pasta, and kids' meal. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and even made a special pasta dish that wasn't on the menu anymore. Walked over to Mimi's Cafe this morning after dropping my car off to be serviced and I was not disappointed! I had checked out the Menu on their website the night before, so I knew in advance what I was going to order.Got the Bacon and Avocado Omelet and asked to have peppers and onions and cheese added to the potatoes it came out awesome (and fast! . Was going to get it with the carrot raison muffin, or the blueberry crumble, or the honey bran muffin, but I opted to go with the sourdough toast for dietary reasons...Only let down was the steamer to make lattes was broken, so I went with the good old regular coffee back up.I am going to go back to find out what's up with the peanut butter latte! And a few muffins.....Parking: There is almost always plenty of parking! It has a very large parking lot that they share with a few other businesses across the parking lot. If you get there late, you might have a little walk across the parking lot..... but you will not regret getting the chance to walk a little after the wonderful meal!Kid friendliness: It's a Family style restaurant of course it's Kid Friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door opens wide, they have lots of tables throughout the place, easy to get around, come stay a while enjoy!
