Staris Subs Sandwiches - Santee

After relocating out of California, I been looking for a sandwhich shop like Submarina. Sadly none. I miss this place!

We're coming here for good sandwiches almost every weekend! They taste great and their prices are comparable to large chains sandwich shops. They cut the meat to order instead of keeping it in open bowls all day, and their bread is good enough to eat on their own, not mass produced hard bread. You also have a frequent buyer stamp card that will give you free sandwiches and free meals each once in a while, a beautiful bonus every month or so. If you don't have a sandwich from here yet, it's worth trying, you won't regret it!!

These subs are really great. I don't think I could eat a subway or a mike's sandwich ever again! i do wish they has dill pickles though. These were those other weird ones. Doesn't take away form the flavor though.

I absolutely love this Untermarina! The staff is friendly, the dining area is kept clean, and the sandwiches are delicious! I've never had a bad experience, and we've dined here quite a bit!
