Avaliação da contribuiçãoAfter two weeks in Colombia, Medellin 's cuisine gets boring as it focus mainly on typical Bandeja Paisa arrangements. This place offered Venezuelan Pabellon, a fresher seasoning, a perfect blend of spices and flavors; what a relief. Thanks God!! Food was good, and attention very special. The owners, well educated Venezuelans escaping from Maduro 's comunism, spoke an impeccable English with British accent. She is an attorney, he is a Finance advisor and graduated chef. The place is charming; it 's worth visiting.
We were looking for something a little different from the usual traditional Colombian fare and had a great meal here at Chancho Panza. It’s a small restaurant with just a few tables but the food is clearly made with care and love. We had the plate of ribs which came with a lovely refreshing salad and good fries, and also the chicken with cilantro in a delicious arepa. There were also a range of lovely and unusual sauces to choose from to accompany the food all the ones we tried were great, The owner explained that the dishes had a Venezuelan influence since that’s where he is from originally, and we loved it. The prices were extremely reasonable and we’ll definitely be back to try some of the other tempting items on the menu.
Best food ever!!!!
They have to go and try all the arepas. It is an excellent site and everything is too RICH. Those flavors make you feel at home. I went with my wife and sister-in-law, I ate an arepa de pabellón that was super good. Toasted, very large and with all the law, shredded meat, slices, cheese and beans. We also tried the queen pepiada and what a delicious thing. Full recommended this site. They have to go. In the photo you can see my happy face. THANK YOU
How delicious it is to eat pork belly and how delicious the atmosphere in the place, a little small but cozy, has what you need a good place to eat, delicious food and good service. The bondiola sandwich is a crazy thing and if you go at noon ask for a pork rind, I have never tasted such a delicious flattened pork rind, on the weekend try a well-resolved pavilion empanada ... A pig delicacy
