"Arrived just before they shut and were still served - the only positive,(had a drink a few days ago sat out in the sun in the square and it was lovely) so we fancied another G&T before dinner. So disappointing! We were served in a plastic pint glass containing a lot of ice, some lemon and tonic, unfortunately the gin was missing. We were not the only people to be missing the gin - normally I wouldn't be one to complain however the other people who had joined me in drinking tonic said they had already tried and failed. Finally, we left our drinks and went for dinner. Happy to discuss this with the server (he disappeared as soon as he saw us speaking with other disgruntled customers) if he would like to. We don't expect much just a 'proper' G&T or a reimbursement if the gin is running low. It's a shame as the Portuguese are amazing but this experience made me feel as if the gentleman/establishment thought they could take advantage of tourists..."
