Avaliação da contribuiçãoClayton’s is a favorite of local and in-the-know tourists (aka people who use yap) and from good ground. from seafood to vegan they will impress them. me.
Complete gem and must try in Siesta! The tell is that from start to finish- everything was excellent: the host kindly seated us inside even though I had requested outdoor seating (I was imagining an alternative reality where it is not sweltering in August in Florida- so he literally saved me from myself) the waitress was super attentive and friendly- just adding to the awesomeness of the entire experience. The wine was served in a chilled glass and the calamari and fish tacos we inhaled were scrumptious- and since I had a teen with me, we threw in the truffle fries for complete satiety, which we achieved in delicious fashion. The atmosphere was very lively- even in this off season, it was full which is probably all one needs to know outside of this long winded review. Great night!
What a disappointment…it had been a while since we dined at Claytons, so we thought we would give it a try again. The menu is very limited which was not the case in the past. We decided on the fish tacos and the grouper. The fish tacos were bland and unappealing looking and the fish was overcooked. They came with a banana fritter which was chewy and tasteless. The Grouper was just “ok” but the “scoop” of mashed tomatoes it came on was hard and cold. Sadly, We wont be back again.
Clayton’s never disappoints with delicious fresh seafood! Love the scallops gnochi
Had a reservation. The only seating available was at a high top, which was less than optimal for an older member of our party. Waiter brought wrong soup. Correct soup was very good. Teriyaki salmon was cooked as desired and very good. Sides were less than desirable. All in all, a very average dining experience.
