Fleming's Steakhouse Sarasota

We had Thanksgiving dinner here. Drinks and food were what you would expect at a high end steakhouse. Onion rings were awesome.

Great selections and service. Portions are large and they box up the extra nicely for you to enjoy at home.

This was my first visit to flemings. It was a disappointing experience from the start. They could not find my reservation. Then took us to the wrong table (not the friends we were meeting) then we had to wait for then to set another table. Once seated we ordered cocktails and our dinners. Cocktails arrived fine but dinner.. nightmare. One appetizer or 4 arrived.. we waited... then someone arrives with our entrees. We tell them we are still waiting for appetizers. They take the entrees back. Soup arrives lukewarm... entrees reappear and it is apparent they They have been sitting under heat lamps for 20 mins. Steaks are now over cooked and dry. They forgot the sauces for the steaks. The sides (asparagus and creamed spinach) were inedible. Service was atrocious. We complained and they comped us a portion of the meal. Please do not go here...

Service is always top notch here. Our steak and sides were fantastic! We ordered the lava cake for dessert, but it was a bit over cooked and missing the lava.
