The bed is extremely comfortable, food is delicious, beer is one of a kind and the hot springs, oh the hot springs! Pools are hot springs and are not treated with any chemicals. They have a variety of temperatures, and yes, they do have some moss growing as they are natural pools. The resort is very family friendly which I greatly appreciate. It is an older inn with some upgrades. The bathrooms are on the small side and it can be very noisy, which are my only drawbacks. I have been coming here since I was a kid and it 100% is worth the trip.
We attended the snowmobile rally hosted by the resort on 2/25-28/21 and had so much fun. The food in the restaurant was over the top every night and the staff was extremely accommodating. The staff was so friendly and always had a smile on there face. There is something great going on here and it transfers through the staff to the guest. To have a wonderful brewery there on site to tour and be able to drink great brews was a treat all in in its own. They even provided excellent bar service while you were in the hot springs pool. They had a hot lunch for us and fires to stay warm by up at the trailhead for us. The staff interacted with the event as friends, you can tell they all love being there. When they weren't taking care us, they were hanging out with us after hours. Doc, Mike, Rene, Sylvia, Tiffany, Kate, Rich, and all the ladies at the front desk that were always so helpful. We have already booked our room for New Years!!! I cant wait to go back!!! Our 11 year old son will love it.
Saratoga Hot Springs Resort is hands down the best getaway! The lodging was so cozy, cute, and rustic, the staff was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for every little thing, and the food was 5-star for every meal!!! After a long day out on the mountain, the springs were a perfect way to relax, warm up, and enjoy a cocktail. I truly think they’re the reason we were never sore. The beer they brew there was top notch as well! Already planning our next trip- so thankful to have found this gem!!! You won’t regret booking a stay here!!
First the good, staff is friendly and accommodating. They could do a better job w COVID safety measures, pretty lack. The bad- Repairs are needed in rooms and grounds. The rooms are sorely in need of repairs, even though we had an upgraded queen, you could see holes thrushes door, paint pealing, walls so thin they give you ear plugs. This is not a historic hotel like Yellowstone, just run down. Cleaning could be bettered . A huge clump of hair in the drain. The sink facets are chipped and can be turned all the way around. You can hear everything from the unit next door including when they cough. The hot springs are still nice, but they need to clear the walkways and ice during the winter, it’s like a skating rink. Skip the pub restaurant, unless you want to be exposed to Covid,no social distancing, no mask wearing even by some of the servers. The one server Martha, was the worse, never checked back on us and clue. We ended up taking our food back to room because huge crowd of 15 people came and sat next to us, with a very loud obnoxious guy, hugging and talking loud to the others.the server who gave us our food had no mask and neither did the bartender or others.
