Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

I remember when the caffe rio was a special experience with everything fresh and perfect. the quality is sad at all places over the board. they look at the pictures I have attached. no longer worth

Im not typical to write reviews but the experience I just had was unmatched. I placed a pickup order for 9:30 pm and arrived at 9:27 pm. I went to the pickup counter to let them know I was there, but wasn’t in any hurry. Brad immediately handed me a cup for a drink that I didn’t pay for and told me it was for the wait. At 9:30 on the dot my food was ready and was handed to me with an overwhelming feeling of courtesy.

Ordered a sweet pork burrito online with extra meat. It was laughable how little pork was in there. I would say it was about 95% rice and beans. What pork I could find was dry and gross. It seems like they scrapped off whatever was left stuck to the bottom of the pan. Cafe Rio used to be amazing but this experience made me feel like I was being Punk'd.

Service was fast and friendly. The food was top-notch. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that if you get a burrito without meat, they will give you extra rice and beans free of charge!

This picture was taken an hour before they were supposed to close. This was all the food that they had left. Employees seem to only be interested in leaving the second they lock their doors. This is not a rare occurrence. I just finally decided to take the time and post this review after consistently receiving the same poor service time after time. And it’s too bad, Café Rio used to be good but you can’t count on this location.
