Rafters On The Water - Sardis

Stopped in Batesville to shop and ended with dinner here. It was the best atmosphere and food was great!

Really cool setting, but we came out of water planning to get food and listen to the band on a Saturday night. We arrived a bit before 7:30 and the band was not set up (proposed to start at 7) and the only food truck was available from food with only cheese sandwiches. Great disappointment and totally unacceptable for a Saturday night! We had to take off our boat and go to the city for dinner!

We went back a few years because we heard good things. We sat right away. And this is as far as possible. There were many servers. All very young girls. As older adults, we weren't much priority. The priority seemed to speak to friends and serve anyone who came after us. No one came by to ask us something. We waited a while and after we saw some other tables coming after us, we just left.

We ordered our food and an appetizer took an hour and 25 minutes to get a hamburger and some cheese sticks. The manager asked what we wanted we said our food.. some of the worst service I?ve ever been a part of and terrible management. All of our orders came out at a different time though they were ordered at the same time. There was no apology and they are we?re not that busy.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, delicious burgers and wonderful music from a young but extremely talented band. We will return
