My husband had goat meat and rice. The poratin was very good it was so much he even brought it home very tasty. The owners are very friendly and it is very clean and good service. Going back there again with a group on Thursday for lunch.
Dined here last night. I am always on the look out for a good Indian restaurant and Angeethi was a pleasant surprise. Though the décor is bland and restaurant cavernous, don't let that fool you. The food is freshly made, authentic, and amazing. We started with vegetable samosas which were hot and savory. Followed by Paneer Lababdar, Butter Chicken, Vegetable Pulao, and both butter and garlic naan. Each dish was unique, tasty, spiced just right, and just downright awesome. The naan alone is worth a visit. The staff were friendly and attentive. Right down to the Masala Chai, everything was the best of Indian food.I noticed the menu also has breakfast offerings. I will absolutely stop in soon to try that. If you are near 20th Street definitely take the time to dine here, its bound to become a favorite!
We were there for lunch actually for the second time. The food was good and the service was very friendly. Keep up the good work !!
I'm always looking for a good Indian restaurant but I'm sadly often disappointed...but not with this restaurant! We went for lunch and decided to try the lunch special: butter chicken with rice and a pop for 8$. We've decided to add an order of Samosas and vegetable pakoras and garlic naan bread and everything was tasty! I was particularly impressed by the pakoras and the sauces. The naan was warm and garlicky, the way I like it. Now, about the butter chicken and rice: the rice was fantastic: well cooked, tasted a bit like butter and had the typical spice added to Indian rice. The butter chicken was perfectly spiced: medium hot like I had asked and the chicken was tasty! The portion was just right for all the food we had ordered with the appetizers. To add to the experience: the servers were lovely and the service was fairly quick and the restaurant clean! Overall, it was a great meal and I definitely recommend it to anyone!
For so long I have waited for a good Indian place in Saskatoon and my prayers have been answered. The food is so fresh and authentic you would think that you are in downtown Mumbai. We tried 7 different items and every single one was delicious. If you are looking for an awesome Indian place then look no further.
