I’ve been coming to this place for over a decade, and anytime I visit Cocoa Beach, I always stop here on the way home. Today I did and realized that the quality went downhill in a big way. I got the salad with chicken, which had the look, texture, temperature and taste of something from a gas station convenience store. It was cold, rubbery and clearly not made (or heated up) here. My wife had the salad with steak, which looked like old pork. The rest of the ingredients in the “salad” simply weren’t very fresh. The rice/beans had no flavor. The place/location is funky, but the food was average , AT BEST, today. Very disappointing after coming here over a dozen times.
Old school burrito shack. If you're og you know it well. If you're new, get to know this amazing post beach stop.
Been going here for years, prices have gone up, which is acceptable. However the amount of food you get has completely dwindled to Nothing. Bought a double chicken gringo, I would have been better off buying a single CHALUPA from taco bell. So sad to see this happen to a staple of of the beach.
This place has been a stable since I was in middle school. It has been consistent. That’s all I can really ask for. You either hate this place or love it. I know what to expect and grew up on it. My husband in the other hand dislikes it. We always buy their bottles of hot sauces though.
