KFC - Sault Ste. Marie

Thought of trying KFC chicken one more time. It has been a few years actually ...so we figured why not. We bought the 14pc bucket with fries and two salads...$29.00 WITH a coupon. The cole slaw salad was no where near the salad I remembered and this was a bad slaw...totally too much liquid to the point we had to drain it. The fries were a mixture of crunchies and soggies and cold...we had to cookie sheet them in the oven for a few minutes. Now the worst part...the chicken....14 pcs of oil soaked skin and meat...the skin actually had a grayish brown tigne to it. We received 3 pieces of white meat out of 14 which I found put the cost out of proportion . Very disappointed that we didn't get that little crispy piece of chicken skin and that special taste from days ago.Really too bad.

My wife and I laugh ever time,,,"Chicken, you want chicken at KFC ??" Slow, slow if ordering chicken on the bone. Two evenings ago over 30 mins in store for a 9 pce meal. Seems like they have it in the freezer till ordered. If you order the wraps and silly items, popcorn chicken, strips etc, those items come out fast.KFC gets my business only when kids want it and we have coupons.

I went here for a quick meal and wanted to avoid the burger places. Now I wish I would of went to the burger places. The chicken was tasteless and dried out. Obviously cooked at some earlier date and reheated. This was my second bad meal at this same place. I won't be returning, even if I am starving.

The fact that you can watch your food be prepped is an awesome idea. Until you see what these people do to your food well prepping. Ive watched chicken be dropped picked up and put in the bucket and served. Have watched a counter full of all sorts of stuff and food be made right on top of it. Service is terrible they never clean the dining area either. For my biggest petpieve handling money and then food without washing ha ds or using gloves.

The food has always been excellent. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick. The restaurant is very clean as are the bathrooms.
