We are respectful travelers, and we weren't doing anything wrong. We had just as much right to sit there as anyone else with a vehicle. This gas station was a terrible experience. The pumps weren't accepting card payments, and there was no sign or notification about it. On top of that, the pumps were incredibly slow; it took my husband nearly an hour to fill up with $100 worth of gas. Other customers were facing the same problem. To make matters worse, the restrooms were closed, and there were no signs directing us to alternative facilities.
