Bay Boats - Scarborough

If you want a classic burger the way it should be, go to Bay Boats. They can get busy but it is just because they serve great food and it is in demand. We have been here several times and always come back for takeaway burgers to take down to the beach. We have always found them friendly and serving high quality food. Oh and the chips are awesome too.

We drove past all the other take away/dine in and seen this little place. It's how I remember how fish and chip shops used to be. Very clean and the decor not pretentious like some place are.Beautiful breeze while we sat at the table outside.Being on a slight hill you can see the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. When not serving their many customers they were tiding up.

I have consistently enjoyed the high quality food and service at this restaurant. Their prices are reasonable, particularly for the chips. The coffee is also very good. However, there are no views of the bay.

Having purchased takeaways on several occasions from this small business, we couldn't be happier, and are now loyal customers. The service at Bay Boats is friendly, the food fresh, the chips amazing: fresh and crunchy. Obviously fried in fresh oil. Couldn't fault this little family business. Hope they do well.

This is my local fish a chips shops. Don't order a large chips as the portions are massive. Food is always great.
