Beardy's Bar & Kitchen - Scarborough

Read how Beardy 's was the best burgers in the Moreton Bay region, so I paid a visit to see for myself. I choose their steak burger, the dearest item on their menu. It was just ok, maybe all the rave reviews had me expecting something exceptional, but I 've definitely had better (and way cheaper) steak burgers. Sorry Beardy 's, it was ok, but not what I 'd expected. So good without being exceptional. If you 're coming past, then it is worth stopping, but a special trip for the best burgers in Moreton Bay it isn 't. I 'd say 3.5 out of 5. Good but not terrific.

Thank you for the beautiful gourmet burgers. Very fresh and high quality. The friendly casual atmosphere makes for a relaxed environment. You must finish with their homemade masterpiece cheesecakes.I just love the presentation also.

The burgers and fries were really good BUT the lady serving behind the counter was very rude, when my husband asked for a hamburger, he was chastised in front of other customers, as per her, she has to tell 1000’s of customer, they don’t sell hamburgers, but beef burgers. My husband gave her the benefits of doubt, that she may have just been having a bad day and we back for the second time, this week, as the food was very nice, and was again berated, when he ordered a burger with egg (as he felt uncomfortable to say “hamburger or beef burger)and was told by same lady, “you just want an egg”. We will not be going back again.

Had the Aussie burger as part of my lock down dining and she was a beauty, yummy beef pattie and fresh salad. Made quickly and very well priced. Also awesome looking cheese cake but too full to eat that just now but is still here for a picture.. see below

Always eat at Beardys whenever at Redcliffe. Best burgers around. Craft beer on tap and the menu has grown over the years to include hot dogs as well. Brisket is now cooking out the front. Excellent food.
