Was waiting for my order for so long but the staff was very apologitic and gave us a complimentary beverage. Also made us a fresh burger and poutine. The place is very clean and staff are very nice.
Very fast service! It's a dine-in restaurant as well as drive-in and online ordering. Employees are courteous to customers. There is a lot of space for parking and disabled parking too. I liked the crispy french fries; they are longer and thick and very tasty.Parking: It is located inside the plaza along Markham Rd corner of Lawrence Ave. E.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is available
The food and service was good that was my previous review of the placeToday they just made everything badI have ordered pancakes comboThe things that were missing in the service1. Tray to keep the things2. Cutleries we're not metal and the best thing is that there were no fork for eating pancakesWhen asked they did not have it3. Have to ask for the syrup for pancakes4. No butter for pancakes so it is hard to eat as it will be dry5. The coffee from the combo was not provided.Now I am sick of the place.Please have some basic training..
I'm not one to complain, but my recent experience at the 655 Markham Road location has compelled me to voice my dissatisfaction. The issue may seem minor, but the way it was managed left a lasting negative impression on me.During my visit, I presented a $2 off coupon from a 12-can box of A&W root beer. The coupon explicitly stated that it was valid at any location in Canada. However, an employee informed me that the Manager would not honor this coupon at this particular location. The absence of an apology or reasonable explanation made the situation even more frustrating. They even said that it would scan. Seems like the manager is telling their employees to refuse these coupons.Furthermore, when we attempted to use a coupon from the A&W app, the staff again declined to honor it, instructing us to order online instead. It felt like an unnecessary hassle and raised concerns about this location actively discouraging the use of corporate discounts.I'm fairly certain that refusing to accept a corporate-issued coupon goes against company policy, making this all the more disappointing. This experience isn't about the $2; it's about the principle and the unwelcoming manner in which the issue was dealt with.I hope this feedback results in better customer service and adherence to corporate policies moving forward. As it stands, I'm reluctant to return to this location.
