New Long King's Chinese - Scarborough

We decided to get the food to take, the food was incredibly bland and tasteless. the chips they could say were reheated. it was incredibly pricy for what we had ordered. in any case, everyone would advise to avoid this place, it is without...doubt the worst Chinese I've ever eaten.

Really nice eating and very attentive service. my own and my buddy went and got a gourmet set menu that was ace! no problems with the quality of food, and there was a lot of it. probably eats my 5th time here, and it's still so beautiful.

Here for new years eve meal. very friendly and attentive staff and eating was delicious. we have been here for several years and never disappointed

Are here years ago and remembered that it is great food, so visited again during a short break. we were not disappointed. restaurant had a makeover with all new decor, very clean and well presented. the food was delicious, the herbal spring rolls were the best I ever had! very light and not fat. chicken fried rice was also very tasty. service was excellent. would be highly recommended.

On one evening during our holiday my wife and I usually share a Beef Chow Mein and Pineapple Fritter that’s exactly what we did here but it was disappointing, that must be the smallest portion of Chow Mein that I’ve ever seen, I should have...noticed the reviews on here that comment on small portion sizes, not only that but our accommodation is very close by and I was serving this meal on to plates and eating it within 2 minutes of leaving the takeaway, despite this the Chow Mein was just barely warm! I realise that these are difficult times but you need to be fair to your customers and what I received in exchange for over £10 was extremely poor value, the only positive thing was the friendliness of the staff but next time we’re in Whitby we will try elsewhere.
