Boentje Cafe - Schaerbeek

People working there are generally friendly, the owners are not. We had dirty unwashed salad and dirty dining ware. Maybe they feel this fits in their eco or zero waste attitude, but we thought eating there was disgusting. We tried it again to give them a fair chance but… won’t be returning.

I’ve been here 3 times and every time they have forgotten our order. This time the kitchen closed and only after we told them, they remembered that our order is not prepared The staffs said sorry few times Honestly I kind of wanted to have faith in this cafe but unfortunately…

This place is TOP and always has been. The staff is amazing and cool. Their whole concept is unique but simple. I have been going in for a long time and I don't think I'll ever stop...as long as they are around. Love the place.

The experience was mediocre. I was informed that they serve the best waffles, but be aware that they only have savory waffles on weekdays and sweet ones on weekends!
