Avaliação da contribuiçãoLocation/parking In the Schrobenhausen Spargelanbau area, the restaurant with Bavarian tradition is located directly on the through road. The restaurant with its own butcher has a spacious private parking. Buses are also welcome at any time. In the summer a beer garden borders the house and on the large outdoor area folk festivals are organized. Since 1875 the inn has been in family possession. Ambience Inside meets young and old on long solid wooden tables and benches with backrests. Green white carded central ceilings, long seat cushions, small pillows and country house gardens invite the guest to the cozy guest room. A showcase proudly tells about political guest visits, such as H. Strauss, H. Weigel and H.Seehofer. A stained glass shows the motif of St. Martin. The ceiling lamps are decorated with cones, wood wheels or carvings. The walls were decorated with the horse (silk Kummet from the good old time. Another room is available for larger events. Service The service is very friendly, flink and carefree. The boss himself also helps to clear the tables. Food Here is a floor-to-ceiling Bavarian cuisine. We chose the liver dumplings soup (2,70 € . Nicely hot served in a large white lion cup. Very good taste. Then we tried 2 pairs of pork sausages with homemade potato salad (6.50 €). The same was true for Cordon Bleu with Pommes and Salat (10,50 €. Conclusion: Good Bavarian cuisine with a harmonious price
Friendly staff. the chef is here and looks for the right. have been there several times and have always been served. Eating has tasted us all very well. (6 people).Interior fits this traditional house. own metzgerei in the house. also recommended
We were on the way and saw the restaurant passing by. We still stopped there because many cars stood there. Inside we were welcomed very friendly and allowed to sit on a table daz, as all tables were occupied on a Friday afternoon. also something came into the years; but with charm. the order went fast and friendly. our court came to two tellers. so nothing for the small hunger;-) quality and taste was excellent.
We were invited to the “Stief” on a business trip. The restaurant is located very close to the center of Schrobenhausen, an easy walk when you stay in town. There are plenty of parking lots.On the way to the “Gaststube” you will pass the butchery, where they sell all the excellent meat they also serve in the restaurant. The restaurant is very vivid, has a typical Bavarian ambiente, with old furniture, pictures, wooden tables etc.We visited for lunch and the menu is not extensive, however provides typical Bavarian specialties. The beer obviously is good and you better don’t ask for wine. They will provide some but everybody goes for beer! The portions were huge, while the cost is very reasonable. The food, especially the meat, was delicious. The meal was paired with a very attentive and friendly waitress. If you like typical Bavarian food in a typical surrounding, you have to try the Gasthaus zum Schimmelwirt.
We come from Spain. we wanted to eat typical Bavarian and the restaurant was really a hit. I can only say that the steak with a pfeffer sauce was just divine. I've never had such a delicious lunch here. the owner was really friendly and although we had not reserved, he found a place for us (was almost all full and reserved, was the day of the German unit ). the services are very helpful. today was a great day.
