Hotel Steiger - Schwangau

We loved this place that is absolutely away from the beaten tracks. A beautiful terrace and a glass area that both offer a fantastic view of the Neuschwanstein Castle and foot. "Timos fish soup was very remarkable: very creamy and full of herbs.... Very delicious. Especially. There... where more dishes on the German menu. There is a special label for Bavarian, local goods. The place was busy to make sure you get a good table.

The café was recommended by our hotel. We arrived too early and couldn't check in. The food was good, but the view was great. You can see castle from the terrace. There was a little herb garden, so many bees when you're out. The food was okay, but the desserts are amazing!

We ate here twice. The first time was reasonable. The second time we booked and came n time. We ignored the staff for about 5 minutes. A German couple who hadn't booked took our table and we were made to be... very unpleasant when we said we would like the table we had especially booked. When we finally ordered, after a very long wait, my sister's meal never arrived. She only had a salad starter who served herself. We had no excuses and no extras as compensation. This restaurant only accepts German credit cards. We were made to feel very uncomfortable in this restaurant and would not recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful setting and lovely decor. We had steak and fish and both were excellent. The salad bar and entrees were all enhanced with fresh herbs from their garden. Good wine and beer selection. They do NOT take credit cards.

La comida es exquisita pero los camareros no hablan inglés. No se ve mucho extranjero en el restaurante. El servicio fue muy lento, teníamos que llamarles la atención para que nos hicieran caso.
