Our plan for Fr., 16.08.2019, starting from Potsdamm, was a bike tour around the Schwielowsee with a return in the Wildschweinbäckerei. Arriving there at 13 a.m., we were kindly received with the hint: “There are only food from 4 p.m. – this would also be on the street’s noteboard” (which is probably offline, because the Internet is still 12 p.m.). Great disappointment with us, but (swallowed as we are) we planned our route and reported to us for the evening – a reservation was expressly not necessary. After long cycling and wonderful swimming it went back to Ferch. Our cunning stomachs competed from afar with the horror of wild boars... Around 19.45, four hungry figures weren’t very surprised by the welcome of the “Wirt”: “We have already closed the kitchen”. “Why? – just before eight??” “Yes It’s getting dark anyway.”.... The rest is now history.
We've been there a few times and it's just so good, it could be addicted after this good food, especially the SOSSEN. simply delicious and otherwise it is also very cozy there.... and the boss is also very nice!
Beautifully situated for a walk before or after or both, rustic furnishings and now for food : Whoever likes Wild, he's coming to his expense. Good value for money and excellently prepared wild meat. In the outdoor area there is a wildgate with Damwild and a gate with wild boars.
A rustic restaurant with very good, tasty food. At the same time, you should try not only food, but also special drinks. Also the out-house sale of sausage or wilschweinschmalz is not to be despised. Before or after, one can still look at or feed the animals in the wild-gatter that are raised for slaughter. Super ambience! In the summer, however, absolutely preorder! Friendly boss and nice service are written here GROSS!
