Avaliação da contribuiçãoI arrived here late in the evening while walking Jakobs Weg. At first I wasn't sure whether or not it was only a restaurant or a Gasthaus. It is the latter and offers individual rooms or a bunk house as well as meals. No dogs in the bunk house though. The food was excellent and just what I needed after a long days walking. I didn't stay for the breakfast as I wanted to be on the road very early to make the best of the weather. The owner and the lady who I dealt with were very helpful and friendly, the owner in particular spoke good English and was tolerant of my attempt at German. This place can also be reached by car and would make an excellent trip out even for just the day, the views are special especially early in the morning.
Maybe it tasted better because of the long trek to get there, but my lunch was fantastic. The staff don't speak English but greeted my request for a cup of tea with my lunch with amusement and served up the most delicious grilled pork with a fresh salad. It tasted amazing! Such a journey to the top of the mountain, but well worth it!
