Drunk Munk - Scottsdale

The food was horrendous. I had the orange chicken over rice. The rice in the orange chicken plate was over cooked, mushy and very bland. The chicken was supposed to be sweet and spicy. Well neither of them was present. The Las Vegas sushi was flavorless not spicy at all, And how do you offer sushi and have no wasabi or ginger?? Or not even ask if the customer would like some. Most of the table had sushi rolls tonight but none was offered or even hinted they have some…Who does that??our server has the personality of a wet mop. Not very sociable or very professional when it comes to waitressing or made any recommendations to any of her favorite sushi rolls or what other customers had been purchasing recently. Had to ask numerous times for water and others at our table had to keep asking for drinks. With a table of 7-8 people you should be taking care of them more then a table of 2. We weren’t afraid to spend our hard earned money on a good time but obviously she didn’t want it. I had to get up a buy a drink from the bartender behind our table to actually enjoy our time there. She’s was Awesome ! Very energetic personality and she made me feel like she wanted me there.The atmosphere of the place was ok. More dated and dark but overall ok. The music was very good. Great beats and music selection.Overall I would take my business somewhere else in the plaza there. I’m sure they would have better service and care about the customers.Parking: Make sure if you go that you bring a small vehicle or SUV as parking there is very compact.

Stopped in for happy hour on a Friday evening. The service was fine, we got drinks and desert. My mojito was flat, unmuddled, and barely sweet. The desserts were clearly store bought and frankly a little stale. The ambiance was alright, they had a live dj and the music was appropriate and enjoyable for a chill bar.

Samantha is an amazing server! So friendly and nice. She made our experience : the drinks here are great and you can’t ask for a better atmosphere. Only gave it 4 stars because it’d be nice to have a more filling vegan option available on the menu. Will be back though!

We only came for dessert and drinks but both were OUTSTANDING. We got the Key Lime Pie with Coconut Gelato and it was so delicious. Samantha was our server and she was the best! Thank you Drunk Munk!
