Avaliação da contribuiçãoI’ve tried a few corned beef and Reuben spots in the city. This is by far the BEST one. They give the most generous portion of meat for a $15 price. I’ve paid closed to $25 for a similar sandwich with 1/3 less meat at another delicatessen. The staff is friendly and quick with giving you your food. Highly recommend the grilled reuben. It even comes with potato salad and an Oreo cookie!
I'm a plumber building a tower a block away so I can't normally get there... wrong hours. I have walked by on the way home and always smelled the best smells. Turns out their hood exhaust is what I was smelling. Today I started late so I stopped in. WOW!!! Be hungry when you show up here!! I couldn't finish the sandwich but did try to eat all the potato salad... yea right! EVERYTHING was outstanding! The staff were wonderful. Give them a try if you are anywhere close... you will thank me PS. I saw the sandwich and ate half before it occurred to me to take a pic
The Market House Grilled Reuben ia must if you are a Reuben Sandwich lover!! The meat was thinly sliced and melt in your mouth, coupled with saurkraut, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing all harmoniously placed between two slices of rye bread!!! Ok, maybe a little dramatic but this Reuben is one of the best found I've had in Seattle! I was told by a close source of mine the Pastrami dip sandwich was the best they ever had! The sandwiches are served with scoop of potato salad, a pickle slice and a little cookie! The staff was very helpful and friendly and completed my order quickly as the lunch time rush was coming in. I also heard the staff addressing other customers by their first name and recalling their orders as they were obviously regulars! That tells me this is great spot to eat at! This is a definite go to spot!
Wow. freshly prepared, hot reuben meat doused in the perfect amount of sauce and sauerkraut. potato salad was delicious as well, and it was all topped off with a nice oreo cookie at the end. amazing
I've been eating here for 25 years and they're another wonderful old-school Seattle institution. They make all their meats in-house and sell them to most of the good restaurants in town. Why not go direct to the source? They've got the best Reuben in town hands-down. Same goes for their Pastrami sandwich. I'd put their Philly Cheese among the top 3 in town. Prices have gone up a bit but now you get a cup of soup and a side salad to lessen the sting. (Who does that? I'll miss this place when it's gone because old Seattle greatness is disappearing fast... and so am I.
