Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe drinks were great, The food was just an appetizer while we waited for dinner rez across the street.
No line on Saturday which was good. Food was ok, the menu we saw online wasn't the same menu we got. I wanted the Corned Lamb hash and they only have Veggie Hash. My friend got the chicken waffles that was ok. Overall it was a good bar food and the drinks were about $13 on average which we thought was a bit pricey.Food: 3/5
This was my first time in Seattle and we came for business. Sunday was a full day of exploring and a colleague who lives in Seattle recommended this place. I can say for my 1st time in Seattle it was a delight to dine here. The menu has many options and the vibe is super chill. There is an outdoor dining area or you can choose a booth inside or at the bar. I ordered 2 rounds of the Huckleberry and A large order of Poutine Fries! I highly recommend. Full of flavor and the sauce they create in house is delicious and coated nicely on every fry. I tasted some of my friends Mac N Cheese which was very creamy and some of my other friends chicken and waffles! I have to say for southern food this is a nice spot in the PANW. When I come back to Seattle I think I may make another visit. Thank you for the great experience!
I would rate this place one star but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as my friends and I never got to try the food. Our party of 5 walked in and was told by a waitress our wait would be 10 minutes despite the fact that a party of 6 was seated just before us and that table was the only seating that fit more than 4 people. We waited 15+ minutes and saw that the party of 6 still didn't get their food and we wondered how the waitress figured 10 minutes would be enough time for them to get their food and finish for us to have that table. Anyway, the only table that was open was a 4 person table and the waitress said WE can ask a nearby party of 2 if they'd be willing to move while they were eating so we could combine their table with the open one. It was so odd to me that not only did the waitress have a lack of time awareness which is fair but she had the audacity to tell US we were happy to ask other customers if they were willing to move. We ended up leaving due to her poor attitude and service and found a better place nearby that served us quickly.
An enjoyable experience overall, but a little loud. If you're looking for something relaxing and refined, this isn't the place. It oozes personality, though, for sure. It almost feels as if the food doesn't match the vibe? Not sure how else to put it. While I enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits, I would probably be just as happy with the ones I make at home. In short, yes I would go back, but it's nothing *incredibly* special.
