Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis little gem serves up freshly prepared Asian food Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese. My favourites are the pho, papaya salad, spring rolls. Service is super friendly and fast. Venue is open and spacious with an area out the back in the open that will hopefully be used again after covid restrictions. Cozy place with food that always fills me up and tastes delicious. The spicy pho is addictive. Lunch and dinner. This place is a local favourite.
My partner and I are regulars here. The food is tasty and the quality is dependable. The owner, Johnny (aka Huy) is always laughing or smiling and stops for a chat if he’s not busy. He enjoys his job more than anyone I know. If you’re looking for fast, cheap, tasty food and friendly service this is your place. The laksa is one of the best I’ve eaten anywhere and Johnny says it’s the most popular item on the menu.
This was an impromptu visit after finishing late from work and having no meal prepared. And what a treat. I must say I really enjoyed eating at the Red Rock Noodle Bar it was a weekday night and I was surprised at how busy it was. People were coming in to dine as well as a stack of people ordering takeaway. There seemed to be 3 chefs who were rocking and rolling behind in the cooks section. The wait staff were friendly and pretty cluey regarding the menu. We ordered vegetarian spring rolls for entree nice start, then for mains I ordered Chicken in Peanut Satay and Coconut Noodles huge serve and so tasty. The second dish was a beef soupy/stew with pad thai noodles and bean sprouts again a huge bowl. The overall cost was $32 very cheap. Its not a flash place but comfortable enough. The only negative was a long wait for mains and staff were super eager to clear dishes.
I've been a regular here for a while and I've never had a bad meal, there are so many yummy options. It's hard to find flavoursome Asian dishes these days and these guys deliver. Always a generous serving. Would give 5 stars but it isn't a very nice place to dine in, it's always cold and it's not very well fitted out. None of that matters though because it's delicious! Thoroughly recommend the satay chicken, lemongrass chicken and pad Thai noodles. Maybe give the samosas and spring rolls a miss though.
Great food, friendly service, clean. We went for lunch with only a few customers in store . There is a big area out the back which has seating a lot of diners. We will return on a Friday night soon with some friends or family for a great feed. I highly recommend the RED ROCK.
