La Péniche - Sète

We had a great experience at La Peniche. It's a romantic setting, and we sat at the covered outdoor terrace at the end of the barge. All of the fish and seafood was super fresh and expertly prepared. Not fancy or fussy, each dish was full of flavor, with deliciously complementing sauces. The garnishes on main dishes were wonderful : veggie purées (the beetroot was incredible), houmous, and mesclun greens. And the crisp white wine by the glass was a perfect pairing. Service was attentive and prompt. The €36 three-course menu is a good value considering the quality. Looking forward to the next time…

The food and the setting was wonderful. However the waitress was very rude and took great offence when asked where our coffees were. She was more concerned with frantically clearing the tables than serving us.

Un peu à l'écart du centre trépidant de Sète ,mais cadre agréable sur le canal à proximité du typique pont relevable ,avec un avantage indéniable grace à l'immense parking qui fait face à l'établissement .Agreable intérieur ,ambiance qui convient aussi bien aux tetes à tete qu'aux repas entre amis .Cuisine régionale de qualité (excellente seiche à la sètoise tendre et parfumée ,poisson de qualité et très frais ) service rapide et attentionné,très souriant et professionnel. rapport qualité prix correct à conseiller .

Accueil chaleureux, service impeccable, repas excellent et cadre magnifique ! Le top ! Hâte d'y retourner
