Abuelita Rosa's Mexican - Shawnee

We enjoy going here. The food is always hot and accurate. The young lady at the front is pretty rude but other than that, we like this place. Service is always friendly and efficient!

Coming from California, this is definitely a different place compared to the Mexican food there, this is just my personal opinion. Enchiladas with cheese sauce? Seems normal here compared to the red sause I'm used to, bland in flavor, the beans were probably the worst thing for me, the salsa has good flavor, as well as the queso. I also ordered a michelada, was very disappointed in that, probably won't go back, but who knows. This is just my honest opinion in search of some like home mexican food. Staff and service as good, atmosphere was pretty typical of a sit down restaurant

I am not a fan of leaving bad reviews, but I have to. Family of 6 was sat at a very small table. They were quick to bring salsa, queso, and chips but the salsa and queso were terrible. Fries and potatoes were undercooked. They never had anyone order a vegetable chimichanga? They asked about it twice. Avocado came thinly sliced and still had its skin on it. We all finished and waited and waited for the bill, even though 3 people were standing at the desk doing nothing... ended up just going up and forcing the transaction. 0/10 would not do again.

Just like always the food was delicious. And a service was excellent.

Worst Mexican food Ive ever had! Queso was like a gravy and food was mediocre at best
