Avaliação da contribuiçãoDining Room was closed which was disappointing and the noise level was high entre's (e.g., Hake) were also disappointing. Overpriced given what was served. Wine list was great.
We enjoyed date night at the Hermitage. Good atmosphere. Two nice bar/dining areas. Staff were as pleasant. Menu was decent, many good looking options. Food was good, not incredible, but very good. Good drink list including beer and wine. Would return.
Took 17 minutes to get a drink and one hour for food. We have been there at least 30 times but I am done. Slowest place on the planet.
Had a great lunch at Heritage of Sherborn, which I had not visited since it changed over from the Sherborn Inn. Food was good (Scrod was generous but needed more spices I added hot sauce and also was given a cup of the restaurant's special house made hot sauce as well, which was excellent...together they gave the fish much more flavor. We did not have any alcoholic drinks, although drink options looked tempting. My companion had a very large and tasty chicken salad offering, which was excellent. For dessert, we split an order of ice cream, which was generous is size and excellent quality. Service was excellent staff were very friendly and were attentive without being disruptive. We were in the pub room in a corner table that was quiet and very bright (main dining room had a function going on). Price was about average for lunch at this sort of venue. Plan to come to Heritage again to try their dinner offerings.
My dinner at Heritage of Sherborn was excellent. I can highly recommend the meatball appetizer and the mushroom arancini appetizer, a special the night I was there. My main course was also delicious, house-smoked pork confit with tostones served on sweet potato puree, topped with a spicy plum salsa that perfectly complemented this dish.
