We were lucky that they made space for us at the bar. The space itself is tight and cozy. It makes for a very lively vibe.Our host at the bar was wonderful and extremely helpful. He was pretty chill and had a great sense of humor.The food was very generous and the flavors were great. Presentation was super on the dishes. The drinks were also very tasty!There are so many hip modern fusion Mexican restaurants now in Edmonton. But in Sherwood Park, La Patrona is at the top!5 x ?????

The place is small and I highly recommend booking a reservation especially on Tuesdays.The food is excellent and quite authentic but this is a busy place that is more like a cantina than a place for a nice dinner for two.Since it's so busy the service can be a touch hit or miss at times but we are patient people and understand that running a busy and popular restaurant is no easy task. Don't let this keep you from going as the food is well worth the wait.
